Is it possible to get values from a pivot table to a pie chart

Hi guys,

I have a pivot table as below and I want get some values from it and then put is into the pie chart, as it is just a simple demo, actually in fact it is rather complex in this pivot table, the calculated dimension and complex expression etc. So I think if it is possible to get the values that I want directly from the pivot table and then put it into the pie chart, is there any way to do it ? Or is it should use module?

Thank you very much.

PS: I only want the first three total values.

Hi,

The way you have done is the proper way of doing the same.

Hi,

There is no direct way available to refer data from one chart to another.

You can store measure definitions in variables and use those variables in both the objects.

Hi,

Thank you, but I want to get the values directly from the pivot table, or maybe use variable but not use set analysis.

Hi,

Its not possible to pass the values from one object to another,

All you can do is use the same expression in both the charts so that they show the same result.

Hi,

You can't directly refer data from one object to another, but you can use variables to do the same.

PFA. See the pie chart : Try variables.

Hope this helps!
