It is possible to create 2 different state for one variable within 2 independent sheets?

Hi People,

I'm trying to set all variables into one alternative state depending on sheet with specific state.

I have 2 states : default state and 'Rok1' state in two sheets, but the same variables working in these sheets.

It is possible to change state of variable by macro or do any work around in order to change state for variable depending on active sheet?

Thank you very much for your help!

Best Regards

Jacek Antek

if you have two different sheets, you can have only one variable but change the state of the charts where you are using this variable.

You can always try to trigger an action on sheet opening, please see the below screenshot:

Hi,

thank you for your swift answer.

And i have still problem when im changing states of buttons:

I have 2 sheets with button 'Selekcje' and text box with variable vSelekcje.

In sheet 3 is a default state, but in sheet 4 is the state "Rok1".

When I'm clicking on Selekcje Button in sheet 3 there is also action on sheet 4:

sheet4.jpg

So Variable is one and it is working within 2 sheets independently from alternative states.

Am I wrong?

Thank you for your help,

Best Regards

I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly, but I think variables operate independently from alternative states (when initiating a variable, we don't define them as specific state; we define them for entire document and all states, if you have more than 1). Is that the information you were looking for?

Thank you Kuczynska (are you Polish ? ) for your answer.

Yes, exactly - i was loking for that : initiating a variable, we don't define them as specific state; we define them for entire document and all states, if you have more than 1
