I have a new request that I am trying to figure out if I can accomplish, It begins with a basic line chart where I will be estimating average number of minutes per facility. In addition, they also want to show various categories on the chart based on a high level and low level of minutes. In comparison to the average line per facility, they want to be able to see in the background, how it compares to each of the user defined categories. For example, a user would have a categories X, Y and Z setup with a low and high level of minutes. They want to see a static line for these low and high levels with the category description, X Y or Z to display on the background of the chart. At first I thought I could use reference lines, however, if these high and low level of minutes change for the category, then it will need to display the old levels or the new levels based on the date they changed. Is there a way to create a reference type of line for a chart that is based on the date and can outline in the background of the chart the category name and a line to show the high and low level of minutes. Any ideas?

Do you have an example of what the result should look like? And can you post an example document: Preparing examples for Upload - Reduction and Data Scrambling
