Can you give me a brief idea of the External Event/Supporting tasks available in QlikView Management Console.

It would be very helpful for those who want to explore QlikView Management Console in depth.

Hi Harshvardha,

This particular application of QMC is very helpful , let me explain you this with one example. Suppose you are having a report called Finance.qvw which you have created for a user say 'X". Now instead of creating trigger for loading data for this report  through QMC you can give authority to user "X" to reload his report whenever he want. Simply create a reload button in your application by using EDX and give access of this button to "X" so that he can use this whenever he want.

In simple words it is an external trigger created by user or third person which will help them to run or reload the task for the desired reports.
