One document CAL not possible but any solution please?

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know this.

I know it is not possible with one Document Cals to give access to multiple users. Is there any way we can get this in new versions?heard for now it is possible TECHNICALLY. If so, can anyone help me how to set this please.

Thanks, for one document it is showing

'number of CALs allocted to this document' : 5 but under Assigned it is showing only 1 what it means?

You can assign this Document to 5 users and only one CAL is assigned,still you have 4 CALs.

Please can you give infor about CALs in the company you have,means that how many documents are there and how many CALs for each document and how many are assigned.

EDIT: for each qvw under summary it is showing

Document CALs available on server: 25

You have 25 document CALs and only 11 CALs assigned

So remaingin 14 CALs still are not assigned,so you can use this CALs.

You can use unused CAL of one document to assign other document to user.

But documents not assigned on server number is 7 ,but when calculated total documents assigned it gives only 11 assigned

can you make it clear which is true.

Also It is showing under Client Access licences(CAL) there are two users with Last used as 02/11/2012. If I remove those two users can I get two Document CALS back? But here those two users are using the documents which created in 2013.

But how can I use the unassigned CALs as they need to be assigned in future. But for the time being they are on hold. Please tell me how can I use unassigned cals?

Goto QMC – Documents Tab – User documents – select document and change Number of CALs allocated to this Document and click apply button to make changes

If you count all Document CALs allocated to this document for 8 documents it gives 18. so, 25-18 gives 7 which are not allocated in server. Is it right?

How can I change please can you give example of taking one qvw from those 8 and please give the steps as i confused here

EDIT: for eg: a.qvw how can i change Number of CALs allocated to this Document. As i need to assign two users to this document

Do you mean i need to change Number of CALs allocated to this Document from 2 to 1?
