Opening and Closing

i wanted to analyse inventory movement and in this regard, created a qlikview scripting with opening, net change and closing stock.

i wanted this data on a weekly basis. i always get the net change wrong.

when i export the data from database to excel, the date format is not always same. is it that the date format is giving me wrong results?

can anyone tell me how to correct date formats if all dates are not in the same format.

Choose one format and adjust others at script level using QlikView Date functions

Dear Clever Anjos,

I tried that too.

I used the expression Date(field name).

I get the results different  when i don't arrive at opening and closing.

But when i arrive at opening and closing this problem happens.

Being a non technical person, it is very difficult to understand how the system understands.
