Hi have this PIVOT table with two expression: Clienti and CONSUMO GAS
correctly it show me the Total for my Dimension (Partial Total), but i not want to show the TOTAL about CLIENTI in the end (Grand Total), is possible?
i believe if you use a straight table you get the grand TOTAL, for pivot table it is partial sum
Sorry i wrong to write, is a PIVOT table, i want the partial total, but i NOT WANT to show the GRAND Total for expression CLIENTI, is possible?
its not clear to me what the problem is, use Pivot and you can set Partial sums per dimension under the presentation tab
Yes right, Partial sums is not a problem, i NOT WANT to show the GRAND Total for my expression CLIENTI, is possible?
can you pls attach a QVW so we can understand what the problem is?
Sure, i add an example, look i not want to show the GRAND TOTAL of field CLIENTI
that gives a clearer picture of what you require.
the misunderstanding was that Clienti is an expression and not a dimension. also Pivot tables dont have grand totals it has partial sums.
so your requirement is to disable partial sum of one of the expressions and not partial sum of the dimension. unfortunately, pivot tables will show partial sums of all expressions and you can only control what dimensions have or dont have partial sums
😞
hey you can always build your own extension. tables are the easiest extensions to build
