Personal Edition - New PC

I'm using Personal Edition V10 (unlicensed) and am in the process of switching to a new PC. When I try to open a Qlikview document on my new PC I'm prompted to recover the file and it says that doing so will use one of 4 recovery attempts. Does this mean I may only recover 4 documents? Or may only change PCs 4 times?

It also says I will be unable to open files created with my current key. Does this mean I won't be able to open files on my old PC? Or I won't be able to open any file I might have created on the new one?

Thanks for any advice,

Geoff

Hi

You need to lease license from server to desktop application then you will be able to open any version of files in that system.

Just what I wanted. Once I went ahead with the initial recovery I was able to open all other documents. Qlikview updated the key one by one. Thanks, Geoff
