Problem using extensions

Hello,

I have been trying to use extensions (more specifically the Gantt chart).

I have installed the Gantt.qar file.

I switch to WebView and add the object in my application.

The problem is that I get a popup that lets me know that I need to install Adobe Flash Player.

When I click install nothing happens.

I have also gone to Adobes site and installed Flash so I know that it is installed.

Anyone else that has had the same thing or anyone that has any suggestions on how to solve this?

Hi Martin,

Are you using 64bit QlikView?

Unfortunately, Flash won't work in 64bit QlikView because it uses the 64bit Internet Explorer objects - there is no 64bit Flash yet.

Try it with 32bit QlikView.  You can have both installed at the same time.

Regards,

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

I am having the same issues with the Gantt Chart. Are there any license implications with installing 32bit QlikView and 64bit QlikView on the same server?

Hi Debra,

You can install the 32-bit and 64-bit QlikView clients on the same PC.  I do not believe that there is a license implication.  The license is a CAL that is linked to the user, not the type of client.

Stephen
