I am facing a problem here
I want to do a left join
with my left table like
Class | country |
---|---|
1 | A |
2 | A |
1 | B |
2 | b |
with
Country | num |
---|---|
A | 4 |
B | 5 |
I am getting 8 rows instead of 4 can anybody help me with this?
Your field names don't match so you get a cartesian product. Qlikview is case senstive. That means that country is not the same as Country. As soon as you use exactly the same field names you'll get the correct join. The same goes for values too: B is not b.

Qlikview is case senstive. That means that country is not the same as Country. because both are treated as different fields so not make as primary key.
hence you get the wrong answer.
Qlikview is case senstive.

I put a country with a lowercase letter and one with capital for you to have a better view!
Thanks EveryBody I figured that out .
