Problems with Totals

Goodmorning everyone,

I created the following application that you see attached.

The application provides an analysis for clients, potential customers and suppliers.

Sheet "General" grid left.

In the grid of the right would like to see the total values are the sum of the 3 categories.

How can I do?

Someone can help?

Thanks to all in advance.

Gian Paolo

Hi,

I think if you want a sum of total cost you should only do this.

If you need to have this for Agente and for type (Cliente, Potenziale Cliente and Forniotre) you can do (but I'm not sure because I dont know how is structured your database) test what I do.

I cant do other.

Remeber to do what have said

Regards.

Hi Gian Paolo.

A few issues :

- you have 3 dimensions that do not link. Whenever one has a value, the others are null.

- Sum(count(Sales)) is not a valid expression. Count(Sales) is enough

- you have a synthetic key in your model that needs to be removed

- I have no idea what you are trying to achieve with the other 3 expressions

Please elaborate

Hi,

please can you explain better with a example what do you need.

I dont understand what do you mean with "In the grid of the right would like to see the total values are the sum of the 3 categories."

The total of what?

Thanks for the reply,

what I want in the grid of right or Suggest me something else.

the sum of "many visits", "distance run", "Time Employee" and cost are the three categories together.

example:

3 month visits customers, potential customers visits 8 months, 4 visits Suppliers month.

I do not have a grid where I can see, for example, 3 + 8 + 4 = 15, and so on "distance run", Time and Cost is used.

I hope it is a little clearer.

Thanks

Hi,

the first thing you should do is what ioannis giakoumakis says, so fix syhthetic key (you can concatenate the latitude and longitude in the two table with the same field name and change the name of the fields).

For the sum is not a good idea to do a Group of the three value because, as Ioannis says, only one have a value and the other two is null.

If you need to have all the clients, potential customers and suppliers in a column you can do this (is only an idea and I dont know if is good for you):

Sorry but I dont understand other.

If you fix the things that ioannis giakoumakis says and say if is good for you what I do I can try to help you more.

I would also suggest to change the pie chart to a horizontal bar chart.

Bar charts convey more information than pie charts in a clear and elegant way

Hello and thanks for the reply.

I'll explain 🙂

General sheet, grilled right ok.

I want a grid with summary amounts:

An agent visited three clients, potential clients 5 and 8 suppliers.

so I want to see an overall figure given 16 visits

and so see the sum of the total km routes and 2 remaining information

You can please do something about the application that you have sent

Thanks.
