The Challenge

•Difficult to maintain the pre-defined data sources developed by the OLAP cubes for future BI systems.

•Essential BI Reporting carried out manually in Excel.

•Need of a deep skills/ knowledge of the OLAP cubes’ tables structure to combine tables for different purposes.

•Long Time to Market to create values out of OLAP cubes in a few weeks/ months rather than hours/ days

The Solution

•Data & Metadata - understand what dimensions, hierarchies, levels and measures are contained in a given multi-dimensional cube structure. Retrieve the Data in Offline & Online State of the cube.

•MDX Engine – Point & Click Engine for simple and complex MDX queries – You don’t need to be mdx Expert.

•Measures Calculator - When connected to a cube, type aggregation function can be changed in O-DELTA calculation editor and converted to QlikView variables.

•Cube Audit- Alerts on non tolerance between fact - dimension usage and DSV schema in OLAP

•Security - Users and groups, Security Filters and Permissions. Being able to access the security of the data means that you do not have to maintain multiple security files. implement section access into your QlikView documents to protect your data from unauthorized access.

•QlikView Ready” Output – Convert OLAP Cubes Data model to Associative In Memory Data Model & Generate automatically QlikView Script. manage and administrate QVD-based architecture based on best practices of QlikView development.Visual your data – Discover new patterns and trends with the best of the art Qlikview technology above your OLAP Data. Share it with your colleges, and consume it from everywhere including your mobile devices.

• Monitor & Control – Inherent Dashboard for monitor all data that import from the cube: Tables, Fields, Transaction Numbers, Uploads duration and more...

The Results
•Reduction of OLAP complexity and TCO. Minimum need of skills/ knowledge of the OLAP cubes’ structure & Rapid development of new applications.

•Leverages OLAP cubes development investments and Make it easier to utilize the pre-defined data sources developed for the BI systems.

•Single intuitive, integrated and consolidated view of all BI information as a front end in the organization.
