QV_Desktop screen to show all the list of previous accessed documents

Hi Folks ...

In my qlikview desktop all the list of previous accessed documents list is not displayed.

so in settings i tried making changes to display them

And also tried unstall and install the Qv_desktop

But while I'm trying to reinstall the Qv_Desktop faced an error like log file is not avail.

In document properties > general tab > Generate log file option checked

Any suggestion will be helpful

-To display the list by making changes in settings and

-How to uninstall Qv_desktop by over coming the log file issue

Able to see the start page by checking in the help option as Show the start page.

But not able to reinstall and the same error it is displayed as above posted screen

Hi SaiKishore,

-To display the list by making changes in settings

Go to help option and select "Show start page" option.

To show the start page permanently, (In start page) enable the tick mark.

To display last accessed files change number in user perferences.

Thank you Tamil Arasu for the response

In the thread suggested by you is saying one way to check the path Administrator/appdata/local for .msi setup to run

When i run that  .msi  setup then install wizard  displayed for install of previous version of Qv_desktop

Because earlier i was using 12 version but now 11.20

Any help

Saikishore - Have you tried this workaround?

Got o task manager and kill the "explorer.exe" in process tab. Then press "Ctrl+Al+Delete" to bring back task manager window. Then click "File" tab and select "New Task" and type "explorer.exe" and then press ok.

After doing that try installing the older version again i.e Qlikview 11.20.
