QlikView Desktop turned to Personal Edition after upgrade

Good Morning,

Is there a way to get QlikView Desktop from a QlikView Personal Edition? We have been using QlikView for a while and I was able to access the qvws. I upgraded to the latest version (12.10.1 SR1) and now it shows as the Personal Edition and I am unable to open the files I used to have access to. Is there a way to change it back to the Desktop version so that I can access our qvw files?

Thanks!

The upgrade removed some mapped users. After adding my username back in, I am able to access the qvw files now.

you need to lease license one more time

(copied from google:))

  1. Open QlikView from Start menu or TaskBar.
  2. Select Open In Server from the start page.
  3. Click Open >>
  4. Browse apps on the server and open one you have access to.
  5. You can now close this document.

Apply your license again or lease a license from the server (if any)

Did you have version 12 before as well?

I tried that and when I close the server document and tried to open another, I get the same message denying my access.

did you try alternate identity and specify the domain\user combination?
