QlikView Server - User Cals deallocated on the server

Hello,

Using QVS Version 11.  Recently all the user cals were de-allocated from their reports.  I had to manually put these back on.

@Missing Document cals? seems to have a solution, which I can try if the problem recurs.  Has anyone else had a similar problem or experience with this issue?  Will it recur again, is it related to the version of server or something?

Qlik support got back to me.  The .pgo file is corrupted.  This needs to be backed up.  I am still unsure as to how it gets corrupted, however it has repeated this behaviour of late, and I hope that an upgrade to the most recent Qlik version will help to resolve this issue.

If you run anti virus software on the server make sure to excempt the catalogue with .pgo files.

If you're the patient kind you could look through the release notes of the subsequent Service Releases and see if you see it mentioned there.

Hi,

There have been several improvements made to the product to prevent this kind of corruption to occur with the biggest changes done around SR5 and SR6 of v11.20. If you are using an earlier version do I strongly recommend that you look into doing an update.

Good luck!
