Hi,

Could anyone please let me know what is a Qlikmart is it a synonym for Binary Load.

The term Qlikmart seems very new to me so if someone could give me a heads up on it, it would be very helpful.

No, Qlikmart is not a synonym for a script statement.

Qlikmart is a QlikView synonym for the datamart BI concept, which respresents a finished, often highly complex data model (a data mart) to be used later on by one or more user-facing applications or documents. And the latter will most probably load the contents of a Qlikmart using a BINARY load.

Does this mean that the intermediary file that we create(Having the Complete Data Model) , which is later binary loaded is a Qlikmart

Yes, a Qlikmart is a QVW (often without a User Interface) that contains a complete data model for a specific BI analysis area.

It took me a while to find a suitable picture, but here it is: see page 6 in QlikView Data Architectures .
