Qlikview - Hierarchy selections

I've the following fields to select the date of my dashboard.

Days.PNG

It is possible to create a hierarchy between fields to allow the next process, like :

  • Only can be select the month if the year is selected
  • Only can be select the day if the month is selected.

Imagine, I don't want that the day is selected with year If the Month isn't selected.

You could create a create Drill Down Group for Year -> Month -> WeekDay and put that in a single List box.

It would also take up less screen real estate.

Hi,

I'd try to use show/hide condition for month and day. For example, getselectedcount(year)>0. In case, you want to display month and day list boxes anyway, I'd suggest to create to sets: one of them is read only and show condition getselectedcount(year)=0. The second one with getselectedcount(year)>0 condition
