Hi All,

Can any one know what is the Qlikview Variable capacity(Length of variables)?

What is the minimum & maximum ranges of variables?

Regards,

I don't think there is any limit to sort. Which case you are asking and why this question came to your mind. Does it any challenge you faced.

Qlik doesn't have any sort of a declared limit for variables at all.

Back in older versions (pre 9) some longer variables could totally wipe out a dashboard, however I personally haven't heard of this being reported for many years now.

Maybe this: Variable Max Limit and this: Re: maximum length of variable? is helpful.

Yes, I am  facing the issue with variables.

When I try to store the row value (Alphanumeric values) in the source to variables with the help of comma separators at that time, the variable can't take all 10,000 values.

When I decrease the row value to 4797 at this point only my variable will consume the value. Ifitscrosses the 4797, the variable totally decommissioned the all values

Could you elaborate it in more detail what you are doing and also why - maybe there are other (better) ways.
