Hi,
Our users access the qlikview through the IE plugin.
They have the right to create objects / reports in the IE portal. ( Server colloboration : Allow Server Objects / Reports is enabled.).
Now the user wants to revert back all the objects he has added. These objects are not present in the .qvw file. so are these stored in the server against the particular user?
How can we revert back the changes and view the Dashboard as the original it was?
thanks,
Venu

Hi,
Magnus, thanks for your suggestion. This works fine for removing the creating objects by the user.
But sometimes, the objects are also moved accidentally by the users and they want to bring the objects back to the original position. it would be diff for them to place the objects excatly at the same place.
Is there anyway they (users) can revert these changes too.?
If the user is in the same session and using the IE Plugin or QV Desktop, the user can press the Undo button or simply press <Ctrl-Z>. Unfortunately, there is no way of resetting a moved object to its initial position afterwards, ie. new sessions.
What does the setting "Remove last document state" mean. i was hoping this might do the trick. but didnt work.
This makes the session a fresh and new session thus removing selections from the last session.
Thanks,
Venu
Hope this helps.

Hi Qlik_venu.
All shared objects including bookmarks are stored on the server at the same location as the published .qvw-file.
The filename is the same as the corresponding .qvw-file and includes the word .shared.
QVW:
File1.qvw
Shared objects:
File1.qvw.Shared
If you want to delete the objects, either an admin can delete them from the QMC/QEMC in Documents > User Documents > QVW-file > Server Objects
Or the user who created them can delete them from the app where he created them.
This can be done by right clicking the object and then delete.
Kind regards
