Can anyone help me with some direction we have a third party application running our BI batches this allows as to do event triggers to kick off jobs.
We are using qlikview desktop to do our reloads then the job copies this over to a server where access point runs off. We are experiencing a slight issue with regards to desktop every now and then where it becomes non responsive to the degree that we cannot open an instance of desktop manually.
It would have a few qv.exe jobs running in the back ground but we found one or more of these apps (randomly) would hang where there is no memory movement. If we kill these jobs that hang the process would then continue with the next task as if nothing is wrong and it will now suddenly allow us to open a desktop session.
I experienced something similar in a different environment where we used VB.Scripts to do our dev reloads. Currently on qlikview 12.2 SR3.
Anyone experience something similar and what if any is a fix we can explore.
