Regarding Webview in QlikView

Hello Friends,

I appreciate your time. I am in process of creating  video and audio extension objects. So as a first step when I try to enable the web view in my qv desktop it is giving an error as attached image and the application for your reference. Kindly let me know your valuable suggestions to eliminate it.

Kind regards,

Kiru

Are you on a computer governed by group policy?  It is possible that this type of content is blocked in you internet browser security settings.

You can try to add that URL to your trusted sites list and see if it allows the content then.

Hello Jpapador,

Thanks and I appreciate your time.

I tried adding the link to my secure links and while entering inside security tab it prompt me to enter as https://

but in the qv  desktop it is http://qlikview/QvAjaxZfc/QvAjax.js

but then after adding it and  trying in qv, it is giving the same error

Kindly let me know is there any other options to achieve the same.

Kind regards,

Kiru

It doesn't matter that you have Chrome as default browser, Webview use IE.

If you have IE 11 installed you need 11.20 SR5 at least if I am not mistaken.
