Reload Task is deleting QV Document

Hi there,

My problem is when a reload task fail, the qlikview document is deleted.

There are a lot of reload task but this case only happend in this one.

Please check is the task is applied on correct document ? .

It is heappening because of either name changed of your QVW file .

The task is correct and the name didn't change.

This is the second time that we reinstalled QlikView Server in order to fix it...

Hi Lopez,

check QMC Documents>User Documents and make sure that TW_Stock/Stock.qvw is still visible in the list displayed.

Do you see a temp file being created when the reload happens?  is the QVW being deleted from the source documents?  Are you document administrator?  Disable the reload and run the task. See if the QVW is being deleted.   Then enable the reload and run the task.  Look and see if the QVW is being deleted.

    Have you connect Qlik View server?(I mean licence). May be it is licence problem.

have you found out why the document got deleted?

Has it happened again?

I face the same issue with some tasks and still don't know what I can do to avoid it.

Furthermore I wonder if the lost document can be recovered somehow?

Please open a case with support.  This might be a bug and it depends on the version that you are on.

Do you see a temp file being created when the reload happens?  is the QVW being deleted from the source documents?  Are you document administrator?  Disable the reload and run the task.
