Can somebody tell me, how do calculating the "Sales vs Quota"? I have no Idea... I can show that via a bar diagram... but I need figures...
I have sum(Sales) and sum(Quota) and now I don't know how use these both ....
Regards
Jenni
Hi Jenni
I am assuming you would want these on a bar chart Expression 1: sum(sales), Expression 2:(sum(Quota), then you ahve choice of having them side by side or setting the style to Stacked or something.
More info regarding what you want to see would be required.
Hi Shay Cooper!
I dont want that in Bar-Chart..to present in bar chart is really easy..but I want to compare the result of that, so I would like to do for example in a table diagram, which I can read the figures... And I can compare with my validation document, you know what I mean?
ten take two exp in pie charts
Hi Jenni,
As i understand you want fiqures please use pivot table or straight table.
If you have any sample please share it.
Regrads,

thanks guys to try to help me....
Yes I want figures..... Because I want just check if my output is correct...
But HOW I can do that in a formula? so I have sum(Sales) and sum(Quota) and how can I put these both date in formula to get figures...
Ok will use the Pivot Table.. but I don't know how is the forumula for Sales vs. Quota ...
Hi Jenni
Can you share any sample data or Qlikview Application. It will be more easy.
Regards,
Anand
i believe it should be different formula for both Sales and quota.
comparion means calculation two seprate formula
so that it will give one sales amount and one quota(will come directly from field)
may be quota comes directly like Budgeted in Actual vs Budgeted
Hi Jenni,
If you want to use sum(Sales) and sum(Quota) data to calculate in this case please make a variable for that like
vSumVariable=sum(Sales),
vQuotaVariable=sum(Quota)
Please share any sample.
Regards,
Anand
