Sorting by y-value and then alphabetically

Hello, guys.

I have a simple bar chart with one dimension and one expression. The dimension is sorted by y-value. Since several of the y-values are the same, I'd like the dimension to be further sorted alphabetically but it insists on being unordered inside each y-value group. I've tried sorting the dimension using "Load... Resident... Order by..." in the script to no avail. Does any one know how can I sort by y-value and then alphabetically? Any workaround for this problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check to sort by expression and by text.

As expression put the same expression as you use in your chart.

I never had this problem.

See the example.

Add a sample qvw. please.

Best regards.

Hello, Dariusz. Thanks for the reply.

Your method is simple and works. The motive I've not thought of it is that there are several conditional expressions in my actual chart and it would be a hassle to create a gigantic sort expression. Any idea of how the sorting could be done without sorting by expression?

Hello, Tonial.

I've attached a sample qvw. You can see the problem and Dariusz' solution. But as I explained I'd rather not sort by expression.

Thanks!

If your expression will be exactly the same (regarding spaces and letter size), QV should use cache ....

Unfortunetely, as i know, we cant use label from normal expression there ....
