Hi
I have straight table with few alternate states columns.
Report A: Pass A column - inhert state
Report B: Pass B column - R1 state
Report C: Pass C column - R2 state
Report 😧 Pass D column - R3 state
I try to do filter by first column (Test name), which is inhertied\default state.
But filter is not working, I don't know why.
for example, I filter the Test column to value="CI PnP Bidrectional 100m" and its still show all test values in table. why?
Maybe like this?
That's hard to answer without actually knowing the definition of your dimensions and expressions.
If you could upload a small sample QVW that demonstrates your issue, that would make it much easier to find an answer.
How can I upload QVW? I see icon for insert image or video, but not a file
Attach QVW sample
Because in your table calculations, some variables have reference to multiple other States like R1, R2..
So how can I filter by Test column? Is there other options?
Check all the variables and the expressions used in the chart, remove all the state modifiers (like, R1, R2,...) from them. It should then start responding to your Test column in default state.
But the whole idea is to compare results and use diffrent states in one table
Hello There
I've got a similar Problem.
In a straight table I have a dimension, lets say, "A".
I have two formulas, Sum({[Alternate date 1]}B), Sum({[Alternate date 2]}B).
While I select one value in the dimension, it works by none, or just one, while I choose alternate date 1 as an example in the chart properties.
Any idea?
Thank you very much.
