Sudden increase reload time

Hi Community members,

Till yesterday which qvw files were taking 20 -30 sec to relaod at QMC,

suddenly those files are taking 4 to 5 hours to relaod.

What can be the reason and solution of this?

Hi,

The above timing shows the your script trying to fetch the data(I guess) and this is seems not a problem.

Try one thing :

Please do the comparison of log files between the date which taken 20-30 mins and 4-5 Hrs. Then you will come to know that is there any data records has been increased or some thing else.

On the other hand, The memory allocated at the DB side is as usual every day But the No. of hits/usage of the tables(which are used in qlikview) also used by other applications or users.

Please check with DB team also is their any other activities done than the normal days.

One more thing please check if in case any jobs are in"aborting" state in QMC.

Thanks,

Ajay

Please check if the folders have been renamed or moved

check if the virus scanner is running

try manually reloading the document

you can enable the file log: Settings > Document Properties > General > Generate log file. this log file will be saved in the same folder where the qvw is stored. This log is more detailed, because it will display line per line the script that is being executed.

post the document log file (same folder as .qvw)

or, if not enabled, enabled it (see Sasidhar answer) and reload

the log you posted is the task log and, sometimes, there is too little information in the task log to understand why

Thankyou so  much for information reply.

Log file only clears error part, but there is no error. In Log file no information related why qvwfile is taking so much time to relaod.

Issue is relaod starts taking a lot time, both in QMC and in development environment also.
