Hi all,
I have a bookmark that I want to update. I would like to change the bookmark so that it opens a specific sheet. I know how to do it when creating a new bookmark. However, in this case, the bookmark is called in actions other objects, so it is convenient if I can use the bookmark-ID of the already existing bookmark instead of recreating it.
In the bookmark menu, for bookmarks where the 'Include Layout State' isn't ticked upon creation of the bookmark the option is greyed out.
Any suggestions?
Also a solution could be changing the bookmark-ID. If anyone can help with that my problem is solved.
Greetings, Janneke.
The other option is:
1. Delete the existing bookmark
2. Create the new bookmark
3. Export the new bookmark
4. Edit the export (it will be in XML format) and change the BM ID (its on line 4 or 5) with the ID of the old bookmark and save
5. Import the edited XLM file
Hope that helps
Can't you use the 'Replace Bookmark' option? that will keep the existing ID
