Total Qualifier

Can we use any function with the Total Qualifier??

I am using a calculated Dimension,if(addmonth(Date),-6)<=Date2,'Before','After'

No, only aggregation functions like sum, count, max etc and a few special functions like above, rank, rowno() can use the TOTAL qualifier. You can find in the help file if a function supports it. The AddMonths function does not.

Thank You Gysbert...adding to that when I use an expression like the following,I get the desired results for Before and After

(sum({<Brand=,[Account Name]=p()>} Clms_)

/sum({<Brand=,[Account Name]=p()>} Clms_OOP)*30

The above gives the desired results and the below didnot while using a calculated Dimension,if(addmonth(Date1),-6)<=Date2,'Before','After'

(sum({<Brand=,[Account Name]=>} Clms_)

/sum({<Brand=,[Account Name]=>} Clms_OOP)*30

And when I use the TOTAL Qualifier without the dimension specified I get the  desired after value for both before and after.

I know it may not be give you any clue on what the real problem is,but on a first hand please let me know if I missed out anything in the expression.
