Good morning,
I would like some help labelling the total rows of a pivot table.
Thanks to krishnamoorthy I got a script that allows me to group my ID's bases on a level that is in an other field.
That works perfect for me. The only thing I still need is to give the Total label the name of the corresponding ID.
Please take a look at the attached document for more information.
Thanks.
Dennis.
Hi Dennis
I can get you half way there..
For Level3 = 350, that's possible by just putting '='Total ' & Level3 in the "Label for Totals" box under Level2 on the Presentation tab of the properties.
For Level2 it's stumped me, because it wants to Sum up the quantity on Level2. I can't seem to get an individual label for each subtotal, it wants to put the same label on all?
Sorry I can't be of anymore help. It may at least give you a head start on trying to solve this.
Attached I've updated your qvw to show..
Hope this helps
Derek
Thanks for trying Derek.
You are right, Sum is not the solution. I just need the ID there.
There must be a way, right?
Anybody?
I may be wrong, but I don't believe it's possible. I believe that the total labels are evaluated once for the entire chart, not once per total. It's annoying, as what you're asking for seems like a very obvious and basic feature.
Thanks for answer John.
Maybe you know an other way to create these groups?
