Unable to use option Open in Server

Hi All,

I am trying to open a document by using the Open in Server option.

I have added the server name and I can see the folders available.

However when I try to select any folder it closes the screen so I don't get a chance to Open in Server

Any thoughts on what the problem could be

Regards

Alan

Can you check your file permissions to view the QVW files in the folders.

IN any case you have firewall try by disabling it.

Hi Colin,

Do you mean check to see if the folder is Shared?

It is a Shared folder and it's still not allowing me to Open in Server

Hi Ashfaq,

Yes I am logged in as local administrator and I can view All files on Access Point and open them.

But I can't open in server

If you can access the files in the Access Point folders, you can right click, select Properties, Security, Advanced, and check the Effective Permissions of the specific user.

This tests if the user has permissions to the file rather than the folder.
