Upgrading from QV Personal edision with a license

Hi,

I recently employed. my new employer provided me a LEF to upgrade my Personal edison. Now I want to upgrade my PE with this LEF, when I paste LEF and say "Contact License Enable Server", QV is showing below error

Error: unable to obtain License Information from your License Key.Please contact Qlikview support for assistance.

Please help me

LEF file will use to upgrade ur server license not for ur personal computer/qv desktop upgrade.

if u want to up grade ur QV Personal edition --u need license key & control number.

process to update:

1. Click on ur qv desktop icon

2.Help--Show start page (if ur not received this when u performed step1 above)

3. License information

4. Enter license key

5. key in ur key & control number.

... but not for a Local Client, need to use :

     Settings

     User Preferences

     License

Hurray! As my case falls under Local Client I did as Shiva Qlik Said and get it activated.
