Challenging task depends upon the:

1.     requirements gathering

2.     Technical feasibility

3.     loading data(required data with only required fields

4.     data model(avoiding synthetic keys)

5.     front end UI

6.     data validation

7.     security(Authorization and data filter)

8.     Moving to production, reloading, scheduling and distributing

8.     Giving access to the dashboards

It depends on the requirement and the domain on which you are working for the application.

1. Requirement gathering for the application development.

2. Data model creation which follow the data warehousing concept to be applied.

3. Business rules to be followed and applied to the existing model.

4. Securities for the application.

5. QV application management in publisher level or for distribution of the QV application.

6. Application feasibility and the accessibility of the application.

There are many ways and you can achieve the challenges by applying in correct manner.

Hope this helps

Hi, Ramesh.

One of the most common issues I have when working with a client is making sure they have a clear idea of what their requirements are. There is always the risk that you ask them 'What do you want ?' for them to reply 'What can you do ?'.

So having a clear idea of what the business wants to achieve is very important as it can change your whole approach to the design and development of you application.

Is it a one off app or an integral part of the business ?

Who is viewing it ? - technical staff or CEO ?

Is it a long term project or a quick win ?

All this needs to be considered (along with the good information provided in previous posts) and pinned down.

Regards,

Neil

Hi Ramesh,

First of u need to understand the different software's used in project

-->            As a developer you need to understand the requirements from Customer (for this purpose some people were use third party software "SmartSheet" it is one type of 3rd party software here client will raise a ticket with his requirement for new report as well as for New Report Different organisations fallow diff  type of 3rd party s/w's).

-->           Qlikview publisher (Once your application or .QVW file is developed you need to publish in publisher. Here you need to schedule this .QVW file for everyday loading with new data)

-->            Qlikview Desktop Edition (Here you will develop your application i.e .QVW file) Depends on the data source you can load data into u r .QVW file like(Excel data,RDBMS Data,SAP Data,OLAP data,Web files,XML files....etc)

Note:- Keep in mind for large amount of data you need to create .QVD files, because this format file are easily understand by .QVW files

-->             Keep in Monitoring Server RAM because Qlikview s/w is used more RAM utilization.(QVS.exe,Qlikview Distribution services.exe,Qlikview Management Services.exe,QV.exe)

I hope these points will help to u
