we can assume,adhoc means unplanned report.

for exmplae:

we can create list box with _dimenion as header ans keep all your table fields under this dimension and give uniues number for each dimension.

like below,

dimensionNo	dimensionLabel	dimension
1	Customer Name	[Customer Name]
2	Province	Province
3	Region	Region
4	Customer Segment	[Customer Segment]
5	Product Category	[Product Category]

From u can create simply table by enabling conditional expressions,by selecting/un-selecting (unplanned) the fields from list box we can see the corresponding values in ur report.
