What is the scope and growth of Qlikview ??

Hey,

Can anyone tell me what is the growth in QLikview. Say if i have 3 yrs experience in qlikview then how much can i earn per year or how much will be my package ??

Also does knowledge of oONLY QLikview is sufficient or i should also know java or dotnet.  Please help.

Qlikview is a very powerful tool. And 3 years of experience is more than enough to organizations pay you 10lac/annum INR.

Since qlikview is a BI tool, you must keep adding other interlinked languages like VB.NET, JScript for macros and also languages like Javascript, HTML for extension objects.

Then go for Data-warehousing tools, ETL tools like SSIS and data model designing.

If still you want to add more to it, then Go for Qlikview Adminstrations stuff and Certification of Qlikview Developer/Admin.

Still need to learn more, than explore different BI tools and make research papers. or start your own blog or help community to create new tools using Qlikview

It is endless to call ourselves sufficient to compete the world.

Thanx but just 3 years of exp will make me get 10 lacs per annum ?? I mean at current i am getting 3.5lacs per annum as a beginner. So after 3 years do u really think i will get that package ??

Yes, this is the maximum I was offered by a big finance MNC. Qlikview is in demand, organizations are ready to pay double the package for the right candidate.

You must know, what you are doing is actually what market wants from you. You will be paid, as much as you want, but you have to expert in what you do.

Scan some related jobs in job portals and check the skill set.

*note: location is anywhere in india.

The best way to get expert in Qlikview is by following below steps:

1) Going through each and every page of Qlikview 11 book for developers.

2) Work on Live projects and more live and big projects.

3) Keep yourself active on qlikcommunity and other great qlikview blogs.

4) Learn supportive languages and techniques which are part of BI learning curve.

5) Prepare for Qlikview Developer.Designer certification and crack the exam.

You will surely see yourself at a higher level than people around you This is what I am currently following.
