Where do you develop dashboards if you have a QlikView server license

Hello

A client of ours has QlikView server and they currently use QlikView Desktop to develop dashboards.

The issue is that they you cannot edit dashboards more than a few times due to the fact that the license isn't for desktop.

How do you develop dashboards if you have a server license?

Hi,

lease the license from server to desktop.

You need a Named license to develop dashboards.

A Named license can open all document as many times as they want

A Document license can open the document the document calc is assigned to. As many times as they want,

If they have a server licence, make sure its registered.

File -> Open in server -> localhost(server ip) and then open a document. Then qlikview is not personal edition anymore

Thanks for your reply and it does work as you can add new objects and tabs. The only issue I have now is that it does not let you edit the script. Is there something you need to do in order to do this?
