HOW THE APPLICATION WILL OPEN IF THE SIZE IS MORE THAN RAM SIZE

I think you are making change in UI portion. Select all possible List Boxes and then go to File-->Reduce-->Keep All Possible Values. You will get the change to make changes.

Given below is from QlikView Architecture and System Resource Usage document. According to the technical brief:

For example: A 1GB .qvw document uses around 4GB in RAM for the first user (based on a multiplier of 4x to establish the initial RAM footprint based on file size). This multiplier is normally between 2x and 10x. User number two may increase this by around 10% as their calculations get cached resulting in a required RAM footprint of 4.4GB. User number 3 requires a further 10%, increasing the footprint to 4.8GB, and so on.

There are really just two possible solutions:

  1. Buy more RAM.
  2. Load less data.

QlikView does not work if the file needs more RAM than what's available.

Sudeep's description of memory usage is correct.

Pradip's suggestion of a data reduction could perhaps work, but I fear QlikView will hang before you get that far.

Nizam's suggestion is the one I would use to save the app.

But the goal must be to change the script so that it loads less data.
