is it really true that you can no longer download qlikview personal edition if you are not a paid cutomer?

In the meantime if you need the QlikView Desktop installation file, do not hesitate to contact us through our Chat, by clicking Contact Support on any Support Page across Qlik Community. It does not require a login and we will be able to provide that file to you. Bear in mind, that to get technical support on the product tough, you need to have a valid license.

What is said in this document : It is meant for individuals, students, or small start-ups
So, to me, that means that you could download the product if you were authorized to access the download page...

So you meant that the information on the Help site is not accurate anymore when it comes on the fact that you need to be logged in to be able to download QlikView Desktop, is that correct?

I think so.
To me, the problem is not that you have to be logged to download the product but the fact that you need to be a customer or a partner which is not possible when you're a student or an individual.
So there's a contradiction between the documentation and the accesses.
This product should be downloadable by anyone as stated in the Help site or the information on the Help site should say that only customers or partners would be able to download it.
