how to dynamically create the time slots based on user preference.
Eg:
15mins,30 min, 1hr,1day -> should be the possible values for selection.
as I understand you, you could use section Access for your task. where you can assigned correct values per specific user.
section acess? can you please me detail me about this?
you could find more details here:

actually i want it in calendar object. something like the below. depending on user input time slot should change
2013/07/26 4:15:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:30:00 AM
2013/07/26 3:45:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:40:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:20:00 AM
2013/07/26 3:40:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:30:00AM
2013/07/26 3:30:00 AM
yep, you could create a special Section Access table, where restrict data per user.
i want something like input box or list box for time slots(15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day).
According to selection, the calendar values should change.
Could you provide some examples?
if the user select 1 day in the input box, what should he see in the Date listbox?
if he select 1 hr,...
etc
like the below in list box
if 15 minute interval (user select 15 minute in input box)
2013/07/26 4:15:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:30:00 AM
2013/07/26 3:45:00 AM
if 20 minute inteval
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:40:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:20:00 AM
2013/07/26 3:40:00 AM
if 30 minute interval
2013/07/26 4:00:00 AM
2013/07/26 4:30:00AM
2013/07/26 3:30:00 AM
I think you could create additional table for Calendar, which assign your intervals and dates. For example:
Interval, DateTime
15 min, 2013/07/26 04:00:00 AM
15 min, 2013/07/26 04:15:00 AM
1 hr, 2013/07/26 04:00:00 AM
1 hr, 2013/07/26 05:00:00 AM
etc...
After that you could use special listbox with Interval field.
