getting error when reload in Script builder SAPReloadDD.qvw

Hi All,

i trying to fetch the data from SAP BW and i have a script builder and i am trying to load ReloadDD.qvw file and i am getting error

ODBC connection failed

SQL SELECT * From DD02L;

Please help.

Not sure we can really help you with this one, other than to say check the ODBC is set up on the machine you are loading it on and the user has the correct access etc.

Check if the ODBC is 32/64 bit and make sure Qlik is set accordingly

You could also try OLEDB instead

Has this just started failing or has it never worked?

and i have a question when we try to fetch the data from SAP side So why i get ODBC connection error

Indeed, getting QDBC errors when connecting to SAP using the SAP Connector is a bit strange. Can you post the entire script log? Open ReLoadSAPDD.qvw, select Settings->Document Properties->General and enable option "Generate Log File". Then try to reload.

You did properly install and license the SAP Connector before running the reload scirpt, didn't you?

Vipin, For SAP Connector you need to create one DNS
