how can i reflect selections from one qv app to another qv app?

Please check attached files:

in test1.qvw select value from stright table then click on open doc button the selections are reflecting on test2.qvw

but if make selection on dept_no filter then it is reflecting in test1.qvw then if u click on button open doc then it is not reflecting on test2.qvw how can I pass parameters?

Check the Transfer State option while adding the action for open other document.

Sanjeev as you don't have dept_no in your second file.

You can't pass such parameters.

Yes Ashfaq,if we place common fields it is working But my requirement is like that now (if i go for my actual document i need load 24 fields into second qv app it may increase double size that's why they are asking with out placing into second app how can we link?

If you can explain your Actual requirement, Then we can come up with some solutions.

The thing what you are looking is simply not achievable without having same fields and data model on the second application.

At-least place those fields in second application for which you wan't transfer to happen.
