Hi,

This would depend on the network speed / connector / driver used / etc...

In average (in my cases) when loading sql tables, it takes around 40 sec to 1 min to load a million records.

Once we tried on amazon server to load data from a db residing on local server, it took 30 minutes to load a million records.

So there are many hardware and architecture factors that can affect loading time.

It depends on couple of points.....

• data size
• if you are pulling data through any network, network traffic might be an issue.
• transformation process
• RAM size

It depends on the environment and hardware that how much time it will take.

A part from this there are number of other set ups on data base too.
