how to show only total in Bar chart


Hi,

Could anyone let me know is it possible to show only Total bar instead of all bars for a month data. for more clarification I am attacing my Bar chart.please could anyone help me as my user wants to see only total data.

Try removing the dimension 'Test'.

If that does not give what you are after then please clarify your requirements.

you can use TOTAL in your expressions...

for example:

Sum(TOTAL Sales)

or

sum(Sales)/sum(total <Month> Sales)

how to use SUM  as I need to use  expression like below.

I have to consider % of Failures so I need to use

so when I am using SUM it is showing error. In this case please tell me how to use SUM

Hi,

In the Style tab of your chart, check Filled instead of Grouped

From your attached *.docx it looks as if you have more than one dimension on the bar chart, you may well only need a single dimension.

Although to be honest I am a bit unsure as to what you are actually trying to achieve. Could you post a picture of what you want to display and what your current dimensions & expressions are [ or the qvw].
