scrip not ending

Hi All

I have 2 qvd files with same fields 183 fields

one qvd is 21 GB and another one is 8 GB...

The scripp load ended in 15 mins but the process running for hours it is not ended still...

Please suggest something to complete the execution

Hi,

One of the QVD file contain high number of NULLs, and there's join happening after the load has completed hence the script execution window not closing.

A quick check is to load each QVD and check for number of null using NULLCOUNT function, this should tell you the story. The the solution is to convert those NULLs to something may be Uknown then concatenate the QVD files

Hi,

Make sure you have enough ram.

and make sure that you have same table structure and same fields.

I would say qlik here is case sensitive.

if you don't have same field names it will create synthetic key. Which inturn for sure will take time.

try by force concatenate as well.
