You're using Fill with aspect. Because of that the image resizes to the visible part of the sheet. If you put another object below that so that a scroll bar appears you can use that scroll bar to make another part of the sheet visible. In this case the background image does not resize and you see a grey bar. If you resize the window so that the scroll bar is no longer necessary then the background image is resized too and the grey bar will be gone.

Check Chart ->Properties->Colors->Frame Background.

Set the Transparency slider to 0%

Try like this :

Create a variable to change the colors from the White to Grey . In the background color option you can write a conditional if statement based on the variable to set the background color .

if (vColor='White',white(),grey())

to set the variable you can add a action in the button properties >action >set variable

There are two places where you can set the sheet background, even with a background image applied.

  • In Sheet properties, tick the Background color checkbox and click the color button. Change the color to whatever you want it to be. Of course, this color will be applied only to the areas that aren't covered by the background image.
  • For all new sheets, and for every sheet where the sheet color hasn't been set individually (see previous), use Settings->Document properties->General->Default sheet background->Background color to modify the color of the leftovers. This color may be applied to more than one sheet at the same time.

Best,

Peter

Tricky one for the end of the year

Can you post your document with all objects and data removed, and all sheets removed as well except for the one you have problems with?
