Hi!
When i use ctrl+shift to move the legend on the line or pie chart, when the user maximize the chart, the legend will displace its position. Another question, if i add text in chart, the same situation will appear. Can anybody tell me how to freeze the chart & its objects? Thanks so much!
When you go to the Layout tab in the properties of the chart, you can deactivate the "Allow Move/Size" option. But I am not sure that is what you want.
I haven't found a way to let the legend move dynamically with resizing of the chart.
Just found out how to keep the legend relative (position) to the chart.
Select the legend using CTRL-SHIFT and move it outside the area of the chart (outside the red area).
Not sure yet what size the area needs to be to get the desired result, but I got it to work a few times already
When I know what the exact position needs to be I'll add a post here about it.
Here is a sample of how it looks for my chart.
An original pie chart already has this effect. Look at the legend and how it is set compared to the other parts.
I must admit it is not exectly clear how to place the pieces to keep the effect, but the legend should not touch the chart.
LOL I got it to work with the legend on the left side easily enough ... go figure ...
Thanks for thread
double post
still a issue .. i can drag-drop the legend to outside of the chart to the bottom. But after that .. its alined to the left .. i cant get it in the middle. even when the setting of the legend is set to centred.
