what is wrong in the SET ANALYSIS Expn

I am trying to count Product IDs after Dec 1st 2010 in a straight table

count( {<[UPC Code] -= P([Product Code),[Start Date]={">12/01/2010"}>}  distinct [Product ID])

start simple, does it work?

Maxgro, Thanks. The problem was I was using the wrong field. Instead of [Start Date] I should have used a different field to suit the requirement. I was not thinking. The expression is correct. Yes I agree with your thought process, start with something simple when solving a problem.
