Dear experts -
I am unsure on where the issue is.
I have downloaded cloudera Impala 2.6.2 ver 64 bit ODBC for windows and executed the setup file.
I then created ODBC 64 bit System DSN to define a data source.
Issue1: Despite not providing REALM and service name, the test connection is successful. Unsure how? The authentication is "Kerberos".
Issue2: when i try to connect to data source from edit script, the default database is showing as "IMPALA" and owner is displayed as "default". I am unsure from where the IMPALA value is taken while connecting. The port to connect to hadoop source is enabled.
Appreciate you early response.
Thanks
sean.
Instead of Kerberos , authentication used was "No authentication" and test. Connection successful. Single sign on not supported by qlikview.
