Lost Connection to server

Hi All,

I am trying to open the reports from outside the server but it is saying lost connection to server.  I can able to open the reports within the server with no issues.  We are using IIS.

Followed the steps mentioned in this site https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Lost-connection-to-server-Reconnecting-or-Session-Lost-when... 

Please guide me .

Hello ,

 

Some of things you want make sure:

 

1.  if load balancer  or proxies are involved that session are persistent

2. Make sure connection timeout on Firewall, Load balances, VPN  are are set the same.

3. If the disconnect occurs around the same time  ( ie 3 minutes, 6 minutes, etc) that would indicate some sort of infrastructure time that is probably outside of the Qlikview product.

4. You perform a HAR file trace and see if the original cookie is being reset

5. Also make sure the IIS setting mentioned in the article you used are set.

Thanks for the response. It was an issue with load balancer.
