SQL Server OLEDB Connection

I have QV  Server 12.2. I am trying to connect to SQL Server Database using OLEDB Connection. I have SQL Server 2017 Installed. The connection works fine if I Choose Windows INtegrated Security when I log in with Qlik Service Account, but If I try to use the Qlik Service Account USer and Password it does not connect.

WHat Am I missing here

Rehan, your post does not make sense to me, you stated things work fine when using the service account and you login as the service account and run things with integrated security option in use, but then say it fails on the service account when logging in, the thing that just occurred to me is you are not logged in as the service account when you do this and are in as a different user and are trying to specify the service account and its password, is that a correct statement?  Want to be sure I am on the same page as you.

I would surmise the most likely issue is going to be in the DB security setup from past experience, I would recommend shouting out to one of the DBAs if you can and ask if they can have a look at things with you, as I am pretty sure they will likely be able to explain exactly what is going on and why.  If you can provide some further clarity, I or someone else can try to give you a better answer.

Regards,
Brett
