Salesforce Connector for QlikView has stopped working

Hi everyone

The Salesforce connector on a QlikView server has stopped working. Actually, we had installed this connector (version 14.1) for more than one year ago on a sandbox server.

Recently some of users have experienced that by logging onto the server, opening QlikView Desktop and opening any QlikView application, they get an error popped up saying "Salesforce Connector for QlikView has stopped working". No matter the selected QlikView application uses Salesforce connection or not, the error message pops up.

Yesterday I upgraded the Salesforce connector on the server with version 14.6, but the issue is persisting. The only difference I can see is that the Salesforce logfiles have until yesterday been empty (0 kb). The logfile names is something like “QvSalesforceConnector-20190316025530554-0000055C_00002594_7DCE0CAC_03954E71.log”.

After the upgrade yesterday the very first logfile is created that contains data. Logfile name is “<server name>_QvSalesforceConnector.log”. A part of the newly generated logfile can be seen hereSalesforce logfile.png.

Any help with this issue is appreciated.

The logfile is also attached here.
